AZPI GOLF LEAGUE FORMAT & RULES

League Details

Teams will consist of 2 players per team. League matches consist of 9 holes at a different course each week. Teams will be able to choose Tuesday thru Thursday from 4pm-630pm what day and time works best for them on a weekly basis to schedule their tee time for play. Tee times will be in 30 min (5-10minute blocks in between) per two-person team.

League Play

• June 12, 2023- August 8, 2023

• Registration Deadline: June 10, 2023

• $28 Green Fee Per Week Per Player

• $18 towards Golf and $10 towards prize pool for the week.

• Each player will receive special items from sponsors.

If you would like to schedule a specific tee time each week, please let us know your preferred day and time when you register. We will do our best to accommodate, but it is not guaranteed.

*Each two-person 9-hole match will be given 30 minutes to complete the 9 holes. Any hole not finished in that time will given a triple bogey.

With normal course set-up, standard 2 putt with 4ft gimme, and a maximum score of Triple Bogey, all players should be able to comfortably complete the 9 holes while still enjoying themselves.

Simulator Rules

• Players must bring their own clubs to use during league play. We would ask that you make sure clubs are clean before you play, dirt can transfer to the simulator screen.

• We have Titleist Pro V1 balls or can use your own and we provide tees.
  

• No food or drink in hitting area. Alcohol is allowed however, must be in a non conspicuous container during business hours.

• Only hit from the designated hitting area, all shots take place on hitting area. There will be no putting.

• Must be a least 18 years of age to play in league.

Handicapping

• Provide your individual handicap and your teammates. Handicaps will be added together and divided by 2 for team handicap.

Teams

• Teams will be made up of two players.

• Each team will play 9-hole round per week. League rounds may be played Tuesday thru Thursday from 4pm-630pm of given week.

Matches

• (1) 9-hole round will be scheduled each week.

• Players can play as far as 2 rounds ahead. Example: Ryan needs to go out of town and will not have access to HD Simulator for 2 weeks. He could play those rounds before he leaves to stay current. He CAN NOT make the rounds up after those rounds are closed.

Score Reporting

• You are required to take picture of your score card at end of round. Before you leave make sure to provide it to Sam or Larry.

• Rounds are recorded by Trackman and Skytrak and shows tampering or edited scores. Don’t be that team.

Mulligans

• No mulligans.

• If ball is hit and simulator does not read the shot, player is allowed to get an extra hit.
  

Scoring/Format

• 9 holes – handicapped.

• Scoring: Each week, each team competes against all other teams in the league. Example: If there are 10 teams in the league, the lowest net team total will receive 10 points, second lowest will receive 9 points, and third lowest will receive 8 points, etc.

• The gimme range is set to 4ft and auto 2 putt when on the green.

• All shots must be played from the hitting mat.

• Maximum score for any hole is a Triple Bogey!

Other Important Items

• Please be aware that movement near the hitting mat may cause a false shot.

• Again, no food or drink in the hitting area.

• Be courteous to others in the gym.

Weekly Prizes

• Each week the teams with the lowest gross and net scores will split the prize pool money. $50 for each prize pool = $25 per player.

• Payouts will be at end of 8 weeks.
